It hit us all in different ways. First there was fear, plenty of losses, isolation. Some of us, eventually, accepted the situation but protests against control and pro freedom were taking place all over the world.

Time didn’t stop. For the first time in decades the planet was able to breathe. The flowers bloomed, the sun got warmer and days were longer.

I appreciated not commuting to work and back. Was grateful for reading books in the garden. Listen to the birds chirping at blue hour. Having one or two barbecues and just stare at the fire.

It was a privilege to observe an empty London for the first time.
